Belarusian Helsinki Committee

Human rights organisation: monitoring, analysis and explainers on human rights in Belarus.

The organisation itself warns that any interaction with it from Belarus may be treated as an offence and lead to criminal liability.

BAJ's only official Telegram is the channel @bajmedia, as listed on its website. It lists no bot; do not write to a bot with the same name.

Has worked for more than ten years in Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine and other Eastern European countries. In July 2026 it documented phishing disguised as Telegram warnings against users in Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, and in December 2025, together with RSF, it found the ResidentBat spyware.
