Official registers and public databases where you can check whether you are listed, wanted or under restrictions. For each resource we note what it shows, whether you need to log in and whether it opens from abroad.

Whether you are on the 284-FZ register: no consular services, notaries, Gosuslugi, property deals or powers of attorney.
The 284-FZ register is on the Ministry of Justice registers portal, in test mode since August 2026. The portal often does not open from abroad.
Which organisations, chats and media are designated 'extremist formations'; a separate list of persons 'involved in extremist activity'.
Donating to or subscribing to a 'formation' can lead to criminal charges. Don't download the list files onto your everyday device.

Official KGB channel; kgb.by usually doesn't open from abroad. Don't subscribe from your main account — the web preview is enough.
Search by full name and date of birth in the 'Wanted' database.
Usually does not open from abroad. Not being on the wanted list does not mean there is no case.

Unofficial. Mediazona is designated a foreign agent in Russia.
Public wanted notices.
Most notices are not public. A full request about yourself goes to Interpol's Commission for the Control of Files (CCF).
How to ask whether Interpol holds data on you (including non-public notices) and how to challenge a Red Notice or diffusion.
Political cases are barred by Article 3 of Interpol's Constitution. Best prepared with a lawyer who knows CCF practice.
Whether a person is wanted in Belarus: photo, name, criminal charges.
The database is incomplete: not being listed does not mean there is no case. A request to the Investigative Committee through a lawyer is more reliable.
Over 4,700 Belarusian citizens on the Russian Interior Ministry wanted database — they can be detained in Russia and handed over to Belarus.

Debts and enforcement proceedings; indirectly, a possible travel ban.
Data appears with a 3–7 day delay.
